Dr Michael Carling
Principle Dentist
Dr Michael Carling earned his degree in dentistry at Guy’s Hospital, part of London University in 1991. After spending a number of years in general practice, Michael went to the United States to study Prosthodontics at The Ohio State University and a Master’s degree in oral biology. This was a three-year, full time specialist training program. The breadth of knowledge of the program in the United States, was very different from any post-graduate course which was available in the United Kingdom. This broad breadth of knowledge gained in the United States is the foundation, from which Michael has grown his practice. It is present in every element of how the care which the practice delivers, is provided.
Since 2008 Michael has used a stereo- microscope as a matter of course for all dental treatment. The ability to critically analyse research, has helped Michael to determine what are the most optimal materials to use and how to correctly use them.
Michael’s enthusiasm for the profession is obvious, the importance of attention to detail, having an open yet critical mind when new materials or concepts are developed, and most importantly care for his patients and pride in the quality of his work all stem from his relishing and his love of being a dentist.
Victoria Coyne
Practice Manager and Dental Nurse
Victoria started her career in Dentistry when she qualified from the Royal London Hospital as a dental nurse in 2011. She has since then worked at Carling Dental assisting general dental practitioners.
After a few years of assisting in general dentistry, she gained additional training with specialising in Orthodontic nursing in 2015. This led Victoria to nurse alongside our consultant specialist orthodontist. Her chair side empathetic nature always makes patients feel relaxed and at ease.
The opportunity for Victoria to become Carling Dental’s Practice Manager arose in 2018 in which she has flourished. Victoria is an integral part of the team and ensures the daily smooth running of the practice.
Victoria always takes pride in her work and is always willing to provide exceptional patient services to ensure their needs are met. She loves interacting with patients on a daily basis whether this be explaining treatment plans, at reception or in surgery.
In her spare time she enjoys socialising with friends and family, going to music events and running her small baking business.
Dr Jadbinder Seehra
Consultant Orthodontist
Dr Jadbinder Seehra is a Consultant Orthodontist based at both Guys and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust and Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. He is currently the Deputy lead for the Orthodontic Masters (MSc) programme at Kings College London where he provides academic and clinical training to orthodontic postgraduate students. He has held various positions of leadership and responsibility within both the British Orthodontic Society and Royal College of Surgeons of England. He has been awarded numerous national prizes for his excellence in orthodontic research and most recently was awarded a Special Service Award from the British Orthodontic Society. He has published widely in the scientific literature and has also written an orthodontic textbook.
Jadbinder has been a specialist orthodontist at Carling Dental for 10 years. He is highly skilled in providing high-quality orthodontic treatment for both children and adults and managing complex cases. He always aims to deliver the best possible care and outcomes for his patients using a supportive and evidence-based approach. He commonly undertakes orthodontic treatment using a range of appliances including traditional fixed braces (metal and clear types), “hidden” fixed braces (Lingual appliances) and Invisalign.
Dr Ken Harper

A consultant and specialist in restorative dentistry, Ken is registered with the General Dental Council on four specialist lists: restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics and periodontics.
He enjoys managing complex multidisciplinary and aesthetic cases, often involving complex reconstruction or replacement of the teeth by implants, crowns, bridges or veneers. Healthy foundations are vital for successful restoration, so Ken will also carry out the endodontic and periodontal treatments needed.
Ken graduated with a BDS (Hons) from Edinburgh University Dental School in 1983, achieving the Gold Medal. Following two years in hospital training posts, he spent 19 years in the RAF, where he did his specialist training including an MSc in Conservative Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute and consultant specialist training in restorative dentistry at Guy’s Hospital.
He achieved his Specialist Restorative Fellowship in Dental Surgery, FDS (Rest Dent); his Membership in Restorative Dentistry (MRD); and his Membership in General Dental Surgery (MGDS) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He is also a Fellow of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners, FFGDP (UK).
Chloe Amphlett
Dental Therapist
Chloe has been in the dental industry since 2013 and graduated from the University of Portsmouth with First Class Honours in Dental Hygiene and Therapy.
Chloe enjoys building trusting, professional relationships with her patients in order to achieve the best possible treatment outcomes for them. She prides herself on her ability to make people feel at ease with her empathetic approach.
With a strong emphasis on improving overall oral hygiene and general health, Chloe takes care of teeth and gums to prevent, stabilise and treat conditions. In addition to this Chloe carries out fillings, teeth whitening, anti-wrinkle (botulinum toxin) and dermal filler treatments.
Although passionate about her work, Chloe believes a work-life balance is very important. In her spare time, Chloe enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending gym and yoga classes and walking her dogs.
Daniela Bovolenta
Dental Hygienist
Daniela is a Dental Therapist-Hygienist (EDH-EDT, RCS) and qualified at the Eastman Dental Hospital, London 2003.
She has a strong commitment to patient care and providing the best treatment for every patient.
Having worked with special needs and medical compromised patients, she therefore understand the needs of various patients and to treat each patient as an individual, no patient is the same!
Daniela also worked as a dental volunteer in Honduras in variable rural areas. She supported the local health professionals providing dental procedures such as preventative care, periodontal treatment , screening and oral health instructions on vulnerable local children.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family & pets.
Dvija Acharya
Dental Therapist
Dvija qualified with a BSc in Dental Hygiene and Therapy from the University of Birmingham. Dvija endeavours to make patients feel comfortable during their visits and aims to build trust in what can be a stressful clinical environment. Providing preventative care and oral health education is at the forefront of her treatment approach.
As a dental therapist, Dvija is able to undertake all aspects of oral hygiene care, restorations such as fillings as well as paediatric treatments. Working alongside patient requirements, she aims to stabilise, prevent, and treat periodontal disease and tooth decay. Alongside this she is able to provide cosmetic dental care such as composite fillings and tooth whitening.
Utilising some of the knowledge and skills gained through her dental education, Dvija has studied to gain additional qualifications to provide aesthetic and skin treatments including toxin (anti-wrinkle treatment) and dermal fillers.
Away from the dental practice Dvija enjoys staying active and baking healthy treats.
Mera Chinque
Head Dental Nurse
Mera is a highly motivated nurse with over 8 years of experience with a proven track record of delivering excellent patient treatment and all-round dental care.
After qualifying as a dental nurse, she continued to develop to her professional growth, in various specialties aspects of dentistry. She has achieved advanced nursing qualifications including Oral health educator, Radiography, ILS and holding 6 years’ experience as an orthodontic nurse.
She upholds outstanding interpersonal and communication skills at all levels. Furthermore, with High standards of EQ she builds positive rapport with nervous patients.
Mera brings her vibrate energy to our practice which shows in her support with our patients and team. Using her manual dexterity skills in her own time, she finds pleasure in crafting and creating- alternative fashion accessories.
Florentina Baba
Dental Nurse
Florentina has an impressive motivation to challenge herself in developing her skills. After graduating University of Sunderland London in 2021, She wanted a new challenge to fulfil her career path. Inspired by her family who are in dental industry, they opened her mind in becoming a dental professional.
She gained her qualifications through the National Examining Board in 2022 and qualified in ILS (Immediate Life Support).
Florentina has a naturally calming aura that patients are drawn to. Feeling at ease in Florentinas presence allows patients to rewrite their past dentistry experiences.
Making patients feel comfortable and support throughout any treatment is her absolute pleasure as a dental nurse.
Outside of work, Florentina enjoys travelling and spending quality time with her friends and family.
Serena Lincoln
Trainee Dental Nurse
Serena started her dental career in 2023, she took a fascination into the practical side of dentistry, which lead her to becoming a trainee dental nurse. Due to her keenness to learn and develop new skills along with her positive mindset, Serena always makes the patient feel at ease whilst maintaining her professionalism along with assisting the hygienist.
Outside of the practice, Serena likes to spend time with friends and likes to explore new places.
